The short version: Overload keeps your workout data on your own device. We don't run servers for it, we can't see it, and we don't collect analytics or use tracking of any kind. There is no account to create.

Everything you log — exercises, workouts, sets, reps, weights, durations and session history — is stored locally on your device. Overload has no servers of its own, and your workout data is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
If you enable iCloud backup, Overload writes a backup file to your iCloud Drive, inside your own Apple account. It is governed by Apple's privacy policy and your iCloud settings. We have no access to it and no ability to read it. This feature is optional and off unless you turn it on.
A backup you export is a file containing your workout data, encoded to keep it compact rather than to secure it — it is not password-protected or encrypted. Treat it like any file that holds your information: whoever you send it to, or any service you store it on, can read what's in it. We never receive the file.
Sharing a workout produces a link that carries the workout itself, compressed and encoded inside the web address. Nothing is uploaded to a server, and no copy is kept by us. The workout travels entirely within the link you send, so it is only ever seen by whoever you send it to.
Overload Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to verify entitlements and keep your purchase valid across your devices. For this purpose RevenueCat receives purchase history, which is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking or advertising. RevenueCat is based in the United States, so this purchase information is processed there, under RevenueCat's privacy policy and our agreement with them.
Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes it. Backups you placed in iCloud Drive or exported as files remain until you delete them yourself. Restoring a backup inside the app permanently replaces the data currently in the app.
Overload is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to use the app and make an in-app purchase) to use Overload. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Overload holds your workout data on your device only, so we do not process it and the GDPR rights of access, rectification and erasure over that data are things you exercise directly in the app. The one exception is the pseudonymous purchase information described above, which is processed because it is necessary to deliver the Pro feature you purchased (performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b)). That information is transferred to RevenueCat in the United States under standard contractual clauses in our agreement with them. You may request access to or deletion of it by contacting us, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If this policy changes we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
